New Carmelita vintages for Autumn 2022< back to Our Journal

Our eagerly awaited 2019 vintages have set sail from Argentina and are scheduled to be arriving very soon. Here’s a short introduction to each. We can’t wait to share them with you!

Carmelita Malbec 2019: 'Our signature wine. Intense ruby red with violet hues in the glass. It offers aromas of plum, cassis, blackcurrants and a hint of violet. On the palate, soft spices, caramel and tobacco flavours combine with generous round tannins, good acidity and a long, smooth finish’.

Carmelita Cabernet Franc 2019: ‘Something a little bit special. Dark red in the glass. Its nose offers red berries, blackcurrant, fresh herbs, flowers and roasted red pepper. It has a lively and energetic acidity. Its long finish mixes with smooth tannins and lingering notes of raspberries and herbs’.

Carmelita Vista Malbec 2019: ‘A quietly confident favourite. Intense ruby red in the glass. This Malbec exhibits aromas of raspberries, black cherries and black pepper on the nose. On the palate, it demonstrates characteristics of a true Uco Valley Malbec with soft, round and bold tannins’.

And, brand new for Autumn 2022 our Carmelita Gran Corte 2019 - ‘Our delicious, new blend. Intense ruby red in the glass. It offers aromas of black cherries, cassis and blackcurrants with a hint of sweet spices on the nose. On the palate, this attractive blend offers soft spices, round tannins, good acidity, and a long, smooth finish’.

As always, our boutique wine is produced with great care, in small quantities and once it’s gone it’s gone. Reserve your case here.
