Carmelita goes down a storm in Spitalfields! The Epicurean, London< back to Our Journal

It's been a busy weekend for us. On Friday and Saturday we showcased our fabulous, boutique wines at the Epicurean festival of fine wine, food, craft beers and artisanal spirits.

The show was held in the enormous disused Truman brewery. It was a lot of fun and the atmosphere was wonderful. We enjoyed sharing the story of Carmelita with so many interesting people and giving them the opportunity to try our wines and buy by the glass, bottle or case on the day. It was great to share the floor with all the very different businesses and producers..... personally, we particularly enjoyed discovering BRÄNNLAND ICE CIDER and Poetic License gin.

Visitors to our stand were excited to try our Carmelita Cabernet Franc 2012. This gold IWSC '15 award winning wine is a little more unusual than Malbec and went down really well. In fact, the last few cases of the 600 bottles produced were snapped up at the event! If you missed your chance to buy, don't worry, our 2013 vintage is currently sailing it's way to us from South America and will be here soon!

If you came to the event but haven't yet placed your order - it's not too late, visit https://shop.epicurean.online.
